  • The Creative Self-Expression Show
    Santa Cruz Ave, Menlo Park

    Sunday, May 12 - Sunday, May 26

The Great Frame Up adopted Menlo-Atherton High School’s Art Department 18 years ago, and supports us in many ways throughout the school year. Each Spring TGFU sponsors our annual art student show and competition called, “The Creative Self-Expression Show.”

We are the only school involved in the show, and we are very proud of our association with The Great Frame Up and its owner, Marcy Magatelli. She furnishes frames – FREE - for each student’s 2-dimensional artwork and Cash Prizes for the “best” artworks in 2-D and 3-D in the categories of Beginning, Intermediate, and Advanced Artist (that’s SIX different categories!). 1st place winners in each category receive $100.00, and 2nd place in each receives $50.00. All at no cost to the student or to MA!

A Reception for the artists and their families will take place on Thursday, May 16, 6:00-7:30 pm. Mona Klein’s Foods students cater our reception, and the food is always GREAT! Category Awards will be made at this Reception. Please join us then, or go by The Great Frame Up any day during business hours. The show will be up May 12 through May 26 at The Great Frame Up Menlo Park.
