Career Technical Education
The Educational Services division provides coordination and support of the district's ever-expanding career technical education (CTE) program. English Learner/Categorical Programs
The English Learner/Categorical Programs Department provides leadership, guidance, and technical assistance to schools and other departments to support the high achievement of English Learners and all underperforming students. The department is dedicated to ensuring that English Learners and underperforming students meet state curriculum standards and graduation requirements, experience success through full, viable access to all district programs, and are prepared to participate in a wide spectrum of post-secondary life choices.

Research & Evaluation The Research and Evaluation Office is responsible for the coordination, implementation, and interpretation of district and state mandated assessments. These assessments measure student performance for state and federal accountability and instructional improvement purposes.

Special Education The Special Education Department provides oversight of the education of students with special needs in a way that addresses the individual differences and needs of the students. Common special needs include learning disability, communication challenges, emotional and behavioral disorders, physical disabilities, and developmental disabilities. StuSpecial Education Department: Staff Contacts at Schoolsents with these kinds of disabilities are likely to benefit from additional educational services, different approaches to teaching, and use of technology. The special education planning process involves the individually planned and systematically monitored arrangement of teaching procedures, adapted equipment and materials, accessible settings, and other interventions designed to help learners with special needs achieve a higher level of personal self-sufficiency and success in school and community than would be available if the student were only given access to a typical classroom education.
