Your bond dollars at work

The facilities and technology in schools across the Sequoia district are among the best anywhere. Voter approval of three bond measures since 2001 has enabled facility and technology enhancements in support of the outstanding academic and student enrichment programs in district schools:

$88 million
Passed in 2001
$70 million
Passed in 2004
$165 million
Passed in 2008

While the district has long been incorporating energy efficient and sustainable features in its buildings, the district aspires to reach even higher standards with projects currently under way. Starting with the music and arts building on the Carlmont High School campus, the district is pursuing Gold LEED certification – one of the highest recognized sustainability standards for green design.
