Founded in 1895, the Sequoia Union High School District is an established leader in the San Francisco Mid-Peninsula region, including the diverse communities of Atherton, Belmont, East Palo Alto, Menlo Park, Portola Valley, Redwood City, Redwood Shores, San Carlos and Woodside.
The district serves 8,200 9-12 students through four distinguished, award-winning comprehensive high schools, a model continuation high school, a middle college in collaboration with Cañada College, and other specialized programs and services as well as an additional 8,000 students who enroll annually in classes through the district's adult school.

Compensation and benefits
The Sequoia district offers a highly competitive salary and benefits package, including fully-paid medical, dental and vision coverage for employees and their families. The district currently offers HMO and PPO options as well as a cash-back option for those opting out of district-paid benefits.
